Lodge Canongate Kilwinning No.2 – Cufflinks
Based on the design and look of our enamel Lodge Mark Token we have produced elegant cufflinks which can be worn at anytime as well as on Lodge meeting nights. The cufflinks are enamelled in red, white and gilt and are cold capped. They come in an attractive navy, recessed presentation box.
Lodge Canongate Kilwinning No.2 – The Membership of Robert Burns Article by P J Givan PM
This recently published article tells the story of Robert Burns Membership of Lodge Canongate Kilwinning. It gives fascinating insghts into the two paintings by Stewart Watson of Robert Burns Laurateship on the 1st March 1787 and his membership of the Lodge on the 1st February 1787. All of the proceeds of the sale of these booklets are donated to our external charities fund so as well as reading a good story you will also automatically be helping some good causes.
Lodge Canongate Kilwinning No.2 Mark Token
The token re-establishes the Lodge’s tradition of striking a new token to celebrate the tenure of the Master, whose mark will be incorporated into the design of the reverse. This latest version covers the term of office from 2007 to 2010. It is an attractive memento for any collector and will make a welcome addition to any collection. The token is 31.5mm in diameter with the Lodge crest and motto incorporated in the design on the obverse and has a superb high quality brass finish.

Lodge Canongate Kilwinning No.2 Hallmarked Sterling Silver Mark Token
This stunning version of the Mark token is presented in sterling silver and contains a full hallmark on the outer edge with the mark of the year the token was struck. The token weighs 20 grams (0.7 of an ounce). The token also comes in a recessed presentation box. Inauguration of Robert Burns as Poet Laureate (Print)
This painting depicts a unique event in Masonic History. The high quality limited issue print is reproduced from the original which hangs in the museum of The Grand Lodge of Scotland. This is an opportunity to celebrate this magical moment as seen through the eyes of the ancient members of the Lodge. Each print is numbered and signed by Lord Burton who was the Grand Master Mason of The Grand Lodge of Scotland when the prints were commissioned. The prints, measure approximately 600mm wide x 400mm tall.

Alternatively you can order a framed version of the print of the famous picture. The frame is gilt hardwood and is similar to other pictures which hang in the Lodge rooms. The print mount can be colour co-ordinated to suit your taste and is available in beige, deep red and green. The picture measures approximately 800mm wide x 600mm tall framed.

Lodge Canongate Kilwinning No.2 – Historical Introduction
The History of Lodge Canongate Kilwinning and its origins is a fascinating subject. This introduction to the historical events, its environment, artefacts and historical characters is an interesting insight to a much broader subject. The book contains pictures of the Lodge as it was set in the 19th century along with pictures of some of its artefacts. It offers a snapshot into a world famous Lodge in its historical setting, intertwined with famous members, from days gone by.
Lodge Canongate Kilwinning No.2 – Organ Music
The Snetzler organ situated within the South recess of Chapel of St John was commissioned by the Lodge and installed in 1757. It is one of the very few organs of its type which survive today. It is in the same condition with its original pipes and mechanism as it was installed. The cassette tape is a recording of a recital of a selection of classical pieces from different composers and is played in the Lodge by the Late Dr Dennis Townhill who was formerly the Organist and Master of the Choristers, St Mary’s Cathedral, Palmerston Place, Edinburgh.

Lodge Canongate Kilwinning No.2 Members’ Jewel
The Canongate Kilwinning No.2 Members’ Jewel is an extremely attractive and intricate jewel valued by all members of our Lodge. It is expertly cast and finished in brass and is suspended from a bright red ribbon. The jewel is completed at the top with a pin in the form of a blue-enamelled and brass Lodge name-bar. All Lodge members are entitled to wear this jewel at our meetings and at harmony and it is a must for all members. The jewel comes in a jewel box in the Lodge colours.

This special version of the members’ jewel is beautifully crafted in silver, finished in gilt and suspended on a RA red ribbon. The jewel is completed at the top with a pin in the form of a blue-enamelled Silver Gilt Lodge name-bar.
Lodge Canongate Kilwinning No.2 Members’ Neckties
The Lodge Canongate Kilwinning No.2 tie is a must for all members. The tie is fashioned using our Lodge colours of red and gold with an additional grey stripe. The red represents the deep red of our Lodge Regalia, the grey the clouds and the gold the sun. Taken together the colours of the tie are a reminder to each member of our motto, Post Nubila Phoebus (After the clouds the sun will shine again). The tie is worn at our own meetings, when we visit other lodges and attend lodge social events. It identifies us as proud members of this august and historic Lodge.
